The project involved the stripping, proof compaction and import fill of the future office / yard in South Guildford. Unexpected additional topsoil / peat and rubbish was identified on site. Through early identification and discussion with the client, GMF were able to mitigate additional costs. Large movements of trucks were successfully controlled and no disruptions or complaints were raised throughout the import fill process which saw approximately 3,000 tonne per day delivered to site.
