Clayton Street Roundabout

GMF provided road construction and kerbing works for the Clayton St Roundabout development. Works included the box out of new and existing subgrade, verge and footpath. Scope involved the demolition of street furniture, footpath, kerbing and asphalt. GMF completed the new and existing widening of road, involving the import and placement of 600 millimetres of road pavement, kerbing and asphalt. To accommodate the new roundabout numerous existing services were relocated and new drainage systems were installed. All works were completed whilst road and footpath was open to the public.

  • 3,000m² pavement construction

PROJECT ACHIEVEMENTS

GMF successfully completed all works within client time frames and with zero traffic and safety incidents, providing full public access to the road and footpath for the entire duration of the project. Strong stakeholder management and control was involved with the successful completion of works, including ensuring GMF upheld the highest safety and environmental conditions.
